The cruise industry is one of the fastest
growing parts of the travel industry worldwide. The cruise
industry has now become a vacation getaway for the average
person or family. The idea of taking a cruise holiday is
not just for the wealthy anymore. We are seeing some great
discounts, specials and pricing opportunities in the current
cruise market. There can be some good deals if you wade
around all the bogus big discounts that some of the cruise lines
are offering. Remember, free does not mean free all the
time. As of this writing, it looks like Silversea cruises
is leading the pack and Seabourn is close behind in the luxury
cruise market. With the boom in the cruise industry has come a boom in new
cruise ships, destinations, amenities and pricing. The price of
taking a cruise has dropped and you can now book a cruise for a
couple hundred dollars. On the other end of the spectrum,
you could also spend several hundred thousand dollars and take a
world cruise on one of the luxury cruise lines.
It does not matter what ship or cruise line you choose, you
stand a great chance of having a wonderful time when you take a
cruise vacation. The idea of unpacking one time and then
spending your vacation resting or doing what you want appeals to
many millions of vacation goers. The cruise ships sail
from a variety of ports and most are reachable by car within a
days drive.
The cruise industry is offering bigger ships, smaller ships,
transatlantic ships, world cruises, cruise to now where, weekend
cruises, 3 day cruises, 5 day cruises, 7 day cruises and many,
many more itineraries to choose from. You would be hard
pressed to NOT be able to find a cruise or pricing that
satisfies your holiday or vacation budget.
